Jason and I have never been all that great at sorting out the finishing touches, round our house.
We love to start a project, oh my goodness do we! But those last few bits and pieces, like putting up artwork and finding new handles for our wardrobe doors (not kidding, we only just did this after a year of being handle-less!) and putting photos into frames and replacing the cushions in the living room? Well, we’re not so great at all that!
Until, that was, my nesting urges kicked in! Now I’m blitzing this house like it’s an episode of Changing Rooms (remember that, British children of the 80s and 90s?!) and have been ticking things off the ‘Household’ to-do list in my Evernote app like I’m on some kind of mission. Which, I suppose, I am.
Right now I’m in the middle of updating our living room (it was the first room we ever did in the house, so was in need of a soft furnishings refresh), and also have been finishing up jobs in every other room of the house.
I’ll be sharing a post with all the changes I’ve made in a few weeks time (though the nursery will be deserving its own post, I think!), but today thought I’d share a little inspiration board I’m working from at the moment!
