A few things ‘to do’, in 2016.

Cider-with-Rosie-to-do-3

1. Print your favourite photos from 2015.
One of the tasks highest on my to do list for early this year is to (finally!) print out some of our wedding photos, and get them framed!

2. Read more books.
I started reading a lot more at the start of 2015, but got lazy and let it slide as the year progressed. Time to dig out my old library card!

3. Learn how to cook a new type of cuisine.
I fell in love with Thai food whilst in Koh Samui this summer, and would love to learn how to make a really killer green vegetable curry at home!

4. Visit a city in your home country you’ve never been to before.
Bath is top of my list- everything I’ve ever seen of the city looks amazing!

5. Get some artwork framed, and *actually* hang it on the walls. (Don’t just leave them leaning on the window ledges…;)

6. Redecorate a room in your house, or your bedroom if you’re living at home.
Our front bedroom has been a plain, boring space for so long now, and it’s high time we spruced the place up! I’ve got grand plans of it in 2016!

7. Take up a new hobby.
This year Jason and I plan on buying some raised beds for the decking in our back garden, and giving veg growing a little go!

8. Do something adventurous this summer!
Last year I tried jet skiing and rock climbing. and it was so great doing something a little out of my comfort zone! I learned that jet skiing is my favourite mode of transport, but that rock climbing is *not* for me ;)

What/s on your to do list for 2016?

Great list! I might borrow a few ideas and put it on my own to-do list for 2016. Reading more is definitely high up my list too. I especially want to get into reading more non-fiction books, because there are so many good ones.

I will join you with the more reading. I used to read so much (sometimes a book a day) but I am so busy with uni work and a lot of the time I am actually too tired to read (shame on me). I always avoid starting a book during my revision phase, don’t want any distractions, but I will read more again. I love reading so so much!
Have you got any good book recommendations you could post? I am always on the hunt for a good book, and I am always open to try out a new genre :)
    Love,

What a lovely list! These are some wonderful ideas. Especially printing, framing and putting up photos – I never get around to doing that! On my list is simply to experience more and to buy less.

I love this idea! I definitely need to write myself a little to-do list for the year ha! I love that you want to start growing veg! I started a couple years back and it’s amazing seeing the little seed you planted turn into actual food that you can eat! Bath looks amazing too – we vistited one day when I was really young, but that’s literally all I remember haha!

Going into the New Year, I have read a lot of goals for 2016 and nearly all of them include “read more” and this is something I feel like I need to do, too.

For a Thai Green Curry, I buy curry paste from the Chinese supermarket (think it’s called Mae Ploy). It gives you instructions on the side, I know Thai people that use it & give it the thumbs up. :) Chelsea

Lovely blog, wish mine looked like this, there is so much I don’t know how to do, I’m on the verge of giving up! But I really like writing and really want a blog, so I’ll keep going and learning slowly. I love your list for 2016, I would like to think mine is similar. But I daren’t start a new hobby! Too much to do and so little time. I’ve just started sewing again, as well as photography, cooking, writing – not enough hours in the day! Good luck with your projects in 2016.

You are going to *love* Bath – such a beautiful city!

I’m doing my goals month by month rather than across the year – have started well but there’s a way to go.

I really need to print photos out and get them framed! We will have been married 10 years this year (- eeeks) so probably about time to get our wedding photos framed!

You will love Bath. If you get a chance, stop by Society Cafe. There is one opposite the Guildhall. They make the best cup of coffee. Although, Bath is my home town so I am slightly biased.

Reading more books is on my list. I like the idea of just having time to really get into a book, not just reading a few pages at a time.

  • http://chloelxuise.com chloelxuise

I always say I’m going to read more books but never get round to it because I just can’t find the time! This is one thing I really want to achieve this year!
