A Snapshot: Tuesday

22.05

yesterday on our morning walk, ted and i set about exploring the bluebell woods that lie a couple of villages away from home. i’d not been walking in those woods for about a decade. there’s been lots of tree felling there recently, but i was surprised at how familiar it all felt. the bluebells were out in all their glory, and we didn’t see another soul the whole time we were there.
i think it’s going to be my new favourite place to walk.
i just need to break teddy out of his habit of dive-bombing puddles, because yesterday he leapt into a huge one and sent a wave of water over my legs and back. my legs were freezing cold for the entire walk, and i looked like i’d had a dreadful accident. not my finest hour.

other things that happened yesterday: we ran out of milk, and i spent the entire day putting off a trip to the shops because i was so comfy wearing jason’s pj bottoms and didn’t want to get changed. teddy chewed a corner of the doorframe and got the telling off of a lifetime. i ate half a loaf of bread with boursin for lunch (boursin is the best, isn’t it?). and jason came home early from work, so we all went up to the woods (our local forest, this time) for an evening stroll.
how did you spend your tuesday? :)

    So gorgeous.

I want nice weather more often so I can appreciate the countryside. I can’t go out into it unless it’s at least 20 degrees. It’s a rule.

Your woods have the most beautiful colours! Have you tried Boursin in a jacket potato before? I found a recipe ages back for Boursin and leeks in a jacket potato and it’s really tasty – highly recommended! :)
