Four-frozen-treats

1 :: Raspberry zinfandel sorbet (shall we just take a minute to appreciate how amazing this sounds? Oh my. Too much for a Tuesday morning!)

2:: Rhubarb crumble icecream (which I think must taste like summer in a mouthful!)

3 :: No-churn mint chocolate chip icecream (so much more appetising than the usual day-glo green colour of mint flavoured icecream!)

4 :: PB & J icecream! (all of the goodness from a PB & J sandwich, but without all the bready-stodge! That basically makes this icecream saintly, right?)

p.s. I accidentally wrote two icecream-themed posts in a row. Guess I’ve got a craving, or something…

Four-perfectly0tousled-updos

{clockwise from top left}

1. Pinned-up, softly teased braids (and a beautiful warm blonde colour)

2. Half-up braided crown (and caramel highlights to die for)

3. Twists in a short bob (that’s making me want to cut all my hair off)

4. A curled ponytail with a teased-out crown (because OP can do no wrong)

p.s. More deliciously messy hair on my Pinterest board

March-pins

Since Pinterest is one of the great loves of my life (along with Jason and Teddy {& Nutella} of course), I’m going to start rounding off each month with a little line up of my favourite images I’ve pinned over the past few weeks! March has been a pretty great month, round these parts. It’s been messy and stressful and untidy (thanks to new carpets being put down all around the house, and the various decorating and DIY projects that have been undertaken) but also beautiful and blossomy and warm (at times), and our house is looking more put together than it ever has before. Many miles have been walked through the woods and across the heaths and up hills, treasures have been purchased, new recipes have been tested (one or two that were so gross you’ll never see them on the pages of this blog…) and more photos have been taken than I have space to store. I hope March has been good to you, too. Now let’s ready ourselves for those April showers!

Here’s what’s caught my imagination on Pinterest over the past month…

1 :: a short, curled ponytail dressed with a tan leather bow.
2 :: dark chocolate cupcakes with fresh mint frosting.
3 :: the sweetest ducklings in a row.
4 :: mostly-monochrome bedlinen, with a little colour woven in.
5 :: chai spiced banana cake.
6 :: the lake cabin of my dreams (plus a mint coloured door to die for)
7 :: a tall wire basket for holding linens.
8 :: freckles and bright pink matte lips.
9 :: mixed pastel-hued blooms.
10 :: an all-black ensemble, that still looks fresh and spring-ready.
11 :: berry breakfast smoothies.
12 :: miniature hand-painted pots, perfect for holding succulents.
