Wishlisting :: Autumn.

Right around the changing of the seasons I always get an urge to add a few new items to my wardrobe and home. I don’t tend to go shopping all that frequently, but there’s something about the quarterly change in weather that makes me restless, and keen to head shop-wards for a little retail therapy. And since it’s now quite firmly autumn (aside from that weird Indian summer day we had earlier on this week!), everything on my wishlist has a distinctly cosy theme. A new recipe book for cooking comforting meals and inventive sweet treats, beautiful scented candles (Jo Malone’s blackberry + bay scent is our new favourite!), a tartan scarf or two, and a fancy new cup for morning coffee and evening hot chocolates.  What’s on your wish list this autumn?

1 :: Top with Cinnamon (a cookbook by the wonderful Izy)
2 :: Dunelm Mill elephant print cushion.
3 :: Jo Malone Blackberry + Bay candle.
4 :: Anthropologie With A Twist teacup.
5 :: GAP black loafers.
6 :: GAP grey cable knit socks.
7 :: Oliver Bonas copper + glass votive.
8 :: Zara checked scarf.

    Love all of these! That teacup is gorgeous and the blackberry candle sounds delicious.

    I bought a pair of black loafers from Clarks last week and they’re my new favourite shoes, so perfect for this weird Autumn weather. And actually bought a tartan scarf from New Look as well. Tis the season etc! xx

    The Cinnamon cookbook sounds intriguing, don’t think my boyfriend would be convinced as he grimaces if I put a sprinkling in my apple pies. I’m loving Oliver Bonas at the moment, they have the loveliest things.

    ooh I love that mug and the candle sounds delicious! (is that the right word for candles, I’ll never know) I brought a tartan scarf from topshop last winter and as soon as it started turning a little colder I’ve been wearing it almost everyday, definitely a good investment that was then. on my wishlist this year are some black Chelsea boots, cinnamon candles and perhaps a recipe book for pies and tarts and other amazing autumnal desserts!

    I absolutely love the teacup and scarf! I’m still holding out for this supposed ‘indian summer’ we’re supposed to be getting right now haha! I think apart from a couple days during the week, it’s been pretty rubbish weather so far :( – I’m so not ready for autumn to start yet!
    Have a great weekend!
