London by numbers.

Brick-Lane

5 ::  the amount of minutes I was late by leaving the house in the morning.

3 :: steps of my makeup ‘routine’ forgotten in the rush (blusher, powder, lipstick/gloss/balm).

1,2,3 :: numbers on the corner of a building at the top of Brick Lane.

100+ :: times Freya made me laugh out loud. She is so ridiculously funny.

10 :: the amount of pounds spent on the most incredible chocolates, that I promptly left behind on our table at Franco Manca.

80 :: percent. The amount of total pizza I managed to eat. It was so delicious, and so heavy, and so rich. Also, 2 words for you : Sourdough. Crust. (Amazing)

5 :: tube journeys taken across the city.

4 :: coffees put away between the two of us, in Rosa cafe near Spitalfields.

6 :: vintage shops visited. 1 pair of black shoes and 1 orange hat fallen in love with. Neither brought home, because I’m saving my pennies for a pair of tan Saltwaters and some black Vans.

1 :: blister gained from taking new shoes on their first outing. About 3 less than I expected to end up with.

0 :: the amount of dinner I needed after having all that pizza at lunchtime. I’ve never been so full in all my life.

1000+ :: times Freya’s dog Molly stole my heart. She’s the cutest.

18.50 :: time train I caught home from London. It was mad busy, but I got on early enough to nab a seat, which made me very happy indeed.

All in all, it was the loveliest day! Tell me, how was your Wednesday?

    What a great idea :D
I’m so jealous! It’s my dream to live near London someday.
Also: I would die if I visit a vintage store and could not buy something because I save money… I always avoid going to stores in those times ;D

Love this, such a cool way to talk about your day! :)
My Wednesday consisted of the dentist, work, and then a whole evening of laziness. Nothing compared to yours!

I travelled from Central London to the outskirts on rush hour trains day in day out for a long long time, nabbing a seat is key!
I really like the way you recapped your London trip in this format.
