And finally! The last collection of photos from our time in Italy! Also known as ‘A lesson in excessive photo-taking’ and ‘How 1 person can get 4 blog posts from a 3 and a 1/2 day trip?’!
The reception of Emily and James’ wedding was held on the terrace the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori in Sorrento. The terrace overlooked the bay, and the sun set behind Vesuvius just as we finished eating a spectacular five course Italian meal. That meal really was something else. I might have had to undo my waist belt a notch in order to accommodate it. Alright, two notches. Not kidding.
^^ This photo above is without a doubt my favourite from the day. Emily looked *radiant*.^^
^^ I swear we don’t get sunsets like this in England? At least, not in my part of the country anyway. I love how fiery the sky was that night. ^^
At the end of the evening, there was a huge firework display out on the water. It was being put on by one of the hotels further down the bay, but Emily and James’s wedding planner persuaded them to move the platform the fireworks were being launched from along the coastline, so that we’d have a perfect view. It was totally unexpected, and the best end to a wedding I could imagine.
Congratulations, my darling cousin, the new Mrs.Preston!
