1. The realisation that, since getting my camera last year and really getting to grips with both it and photography in general, I actually *see* light now in a way I never used to before. It’s an amazing thing to become aware of, after so many years of just living kind of *in* light without really being aware of it. I feel like I see the world in a whole new way now, and that’s pretty great.
2. Wonderful advice from readers! Dannielle recommended I run vinegar through my stovetop espresso pot to remove the corrosion in it (sage advice from her Mum), and it worked like a charm! Thank you sweet lady!
3. Winning arguments with Ted over whether or not he’s allowed to chew my camera remote case to pieces. He put up a good fight, but I prevailed.
4. Birdy’s new album. I was dubious at first, but it’s *such* easy listening. Light Me Up is my favourite song by far.
5. Nail varnish that dries so fast you can slap it on whilst sat on a blustery train station, and not end up with a single smudge. Sally Hansen’s Commander in Chic is the bomb.
6. Thick knitted tights.
7. Apple slices with peanut butter. Granny Smith apples work best, all sharp and tart against the peanut butter. So delicious!
8. Frosty morning air. I love the feeling that the morning air’s whipping life into my body.
9. Listening to the parakeets calling to one another whilst walking up at Virginia Water with Teddy.
10. My sweet Mum, always just a phone call away. Very, very grateful for her.
What’s made you happy this week? :)
