Double-chocolate-nutella-stuffed-cookies-11

Hello. Here’s a recipe for cookies that don’t require a pre-bake chilling.

Because no one, in the entire history of chocolate, has ever thought ‘Do you know what? I think I fancy eating some chocolate chip cookies in about eight hours time.’ No. No-one’s ever thought that. Ever.  Continue reading

Sorrento-alleyway

We spent most of our non-wedding related time in wandering around the town of Sorrento, trying not to get lost. Correction, Jason and my Mum spent a lot of time trying to stop *me* getting lost. My internal compass has been on the blink for the last 22 and a half years. My Grandma’s was broken for a full 80 years. It’s a family problem.

We stumbled across so many delicious fruit stands and shops on our travels, and had to restrain ourselves from buying as much fruit as we could carry. I did buy some of those wonderful peaches though, and a Granny Smith (Nonna Smith?;) apple so tart it made my eyes water! Don’t those plums look almost like they’re lit from within?

The blogs that’ve been in my sidebar this month are nothing short of wonderful. Like- go and make a cup of tea, cancel everything in your diary, and just spend the day curled up on the sofa reading- kind of wonderful. In fact, that’s exactly how I’m planning on spending my weekend! Happy reading…:)

Hola Irela
In case you didn’t already gather from the interview I did with Irela earlier this week, I’m pretty much in love with her blog. Her photography inspires my own on an all but daily basis, and she shares the most beautifully curated snapshots of her life. In the past couple of weeks she’s shared a recipe for a simple, healthy, vegan breakfast, photos from a rainy day, and the sweetest happy list :)
Favourite post of the past month? Green >> Romaine lettuce << Smoothie

Berry Diaries
I had the pleasure of meeting the darling Lulu back in August, and only at the end of the evening did I realise that I’d actually been a huge fan of her blog for almost a year! Lulu’s blog centres around wellbeing, health & happiness, and she shares inspiring stories from her experience as a trainee yoga instructor, tales from her work life, and snapshots of her recent goings on with her sweet husband. It’s an unfailingly uplifting read :)
Favourite post from the past month? Fig, mozzarella, and toasted almond salad.

Life is Worth the Fight
Stacie’s blog has been a pretty fun read this month! She went on the Harry potter Studio Tour (and made me totally desperate to visit) bought a handsome new handbag, and has been featured on a short channel 4 documentary talking about organ donation! Seriously though, that studio tour. I might just have to see if Stacie’s up for a return visit ;)
Favourite post of the past month? I’m going to be on TV again…

Midnight Rambler
Sarah’s blog has been a new find for me this month, and I love it so. Sarah is an American living in London, and seems to live the most beautifully bohemian life of which she shares snippets on Midnight Rambler. I especially loved her renaming of a week’s high points and low points as ‘roses and thorns’. *Such* a beautiful read.
Favourite post of the past month? London Street Art.

Joy Felicity Jane
Ah, Joy Felicity Jane. Has there ever been a more dreamy and life envy-inducing blog? I’m certain there hasn’t. And do you know, Tania is just as wonderful in real life as she is on her darling blog! She shares beautiful stories and photographs from her time split between London and her family home in the South of France, and her photographs never, ever fail to blow me away.
Favourite post of the past month? Night Skies.

Bows, Bangles & Bakes
I’ve love love loved reading Bows, Bangles & Bakes this past month. Jen’s blog is a collection of simple joys and happy moments, and is total food for the soul. She’s captured the very spirit of Autumn in her beautifully-written posts, and her photos of the fish pie she made last week gave me the biggest food envy! It’s just such a delightful, happy-making read :)
Favourite post of the past month? A Very British Institution.

Late Night Nonsense
Late Night Nonsense is one of the best beauty blogs I’ve ever read, hands down. Adrienne really knows her stuff, beauty-wise, and shares incredibly informative, useful product reviews & perfect product swatches. She’s currently in the midst of a series called ‘The Starting Off Project’, in which she introduces different types of beauty products to readers just starting out in the world of makeup, gives advice on how to wear them and shares her personal favourites. I wish I’d been able to refer to i when I went through my glittery eyeliner phase of 2006! ;)
Favourite post of the past month? London Fashion Week- September 15th 2013

Crumpets and Tea
Crumpets and Tea is such a sweet read. Over the past month, Holly’s been sharing snippets from her wedding plans, beautiful photos from her holiday in France, and some inspiring Monday resolutions. I especially loved reading her post all about the wedding dresses that she’s currently drawing on for inspiration for her own dress, because this month’s just been all about weddings!
Favourite post of the past month? Advice to freshers.

How Does it Feel to…
Bella’s blog’s been one of my favourite discoveries of the past couple of months. I love her writing so much, and find that I go to How Does It Feel To… in order to really *read*, and not just look at pictures. This past month she shared a recipe for a glorious looking chocolate and peanut butter milkshake, which I’m planning on whipping up as soon as I remember to buy another pot of PB. It looks wonderfully sinful…
Favourite post of the past month? Recreate ‘The Diner’ shake.

Dipped in Rococo
Dipped in Rococo is another blog I’m so thrilled to have been introduced to this month. It is simply *stunning*. Kasia lives in Poland, and shares gorgeous, dreamy photographs, tells romantic stories of her life, and makes me want to head straight over to Eastern Europe and start exploring on the double. Oh, and Dipped in Rococo has one of the loveliest and most delicate designs I’ve ever come across. You’re going to love it!
Favourite post of the past month? Up in the woods.

Every Word Handwritten
Rosie’s blog is sweet, charming, and honest. It’s a delightful mix of beautiful photography, healthy recipes, product reviews, and even the odd question and answer tag too! It’s one of those charming blogs that allows you to take a peep into another’s day to day, and find a kindred spirit. Just lovely :)
Favourite post of the past month? The Autumn Tag.

Stephanie Dreams
On her blog, Stephanie shares gorgeous outfits, a tale or two from her sweet dogs, and her favourite picks from the high street. She also is planning her wedding, writes a second blog, and works full time as a veterinary nurse! How she finds enough hours in the day for such productivity, I’ll never know!
Favourite post of the past month? Alfie and Tilly’s blog takeover!

Sunny Sweet Pea
It’s always a pleasure to have Sunny Sweet Pea in my sidebar, since it makes it so wonderfully easy to find my way onto this most charming of blogs! If you’re not already a fan of Jenny’s blog, then my goodness you’re in for a treat! Sunny Sweet Pea is a celebration of all things quaint and beautiful, and is pretty much unputdown-able :)
Favourite post of the past month? Great British Bake Off Essentials

Coco/Mingo
Design blogs are some of my favourites to read, and Coco/Mingo is no exception. It’s written by the wonderful Jessica, and is a beautiful coming-together of colour, typography, fashion, and artwork, all set against a soothing minimalist backdrop. I’m absolutely in *love* with it.
Favourite post of the past month? Home Interiors: Sage green.

Hej Juni
Juni’s blog is a dream. On it she captures the most beautiful parts of her life in NYC- beautiful brunches, her time spent printing and designing, and fun DIY projects that tempt even the DIYphobic (me, of course) to have a go! If you’ve not yet had a read of it, do! It’s just lovely :)
Favourite post of the past month? That day I made brunch.

One Ten Zero Seven
I’ve just loved reading One Ten Zero Seven this month! Sophie’s just taken a photography class and has been sharing some beautiful captures on her blog, alongside outfit posts, wishlists, and a whole host of other loveliness! Oh, and her blog has one of the prettiest header illustrations I’ve ever seen!
Favourite post of the past month? Photography Tips: Going to Class.

Poppy Tails and Trails
Pauline’s sweet blog makes me want to shop. A lot. This month she’s shared posts about the new (totally lush!) Bobbi Brown palette, some lovely Paperchase stationery (everyone needs new stationery in September, it’s the law) some beautiful clothes to freshen an Autumn wardrobe, *and* written a review all about Jamie Oliver’s new recipe book! It’s hard to resist buying one of everything she recommends, I tell you! ;)
Favourite post of the past month? A guide to Saving with Jamie.

Lou Lou in Paris
I’ve spoken before about how fabulous I think Lou’s blog is, and this month’s posts have done nothing but convince me that perhaps it’s even more fab than I first though. Lou lives the sweet life in Paris, and shares wonderful stories and some seriously sexy photos (that pain au chocolat, oh my!) on that blog of hers. It’s a wonderful, wonderful read :)
Favourite post of the past month? Un pain au chocolat, s’il vous plait.
