Dreaming of lilac.

another day, another little batch of blossom photos. i just couldn’t not share these ones. every time i look at these pictures, i can smell that wonderful lilac scent as though it were a real branch i had under my nose, instead of just a photograph. owning a house with a lilac tree growing in the garden is on my lifetime ‘to do’ list.

I’ve been dreaming about lilac recently too! This February, I just could not remember what it smelt like – it was genuinely an awful moment! Then I smelt some hanging over the street (real live crazy lady moment) and it all came back. We used to have a lilac tree (TWO, actually) in the house I lived in growing up and it was just so evocative of the happiest part of my childhood. I need to find some! xox Georgie

Lilac is one of my favourite blossoms. We’re lucky enough to have a tree in our garden, we’ve lived there for a little over year now and I’m sure when we moved in it had flowers, but this year it’s only just budding. I can’t wait for it to flower and have lovely-smelling lilac flowers in my home.

I love lilac! I have a similar dream- I WILL own a house with a cherry tree in the garden, because a) cherries are amazing and b) the blossom is even better. xx

I absolutely love lilac scent!!!!!!! I can’t remember when last time I smell them :( one of my favourite flower scents for sure :)

Lilacs are my favorite! They remind me of summers when I was a kid – we had several trees in our backyard. There is no better scent to me in the world. Now, I have my own home, and can’t figure out where to plant one :(
