Which personality type are you?

last week i found this article (or rather, text on a rather jazzy background!;) about the stock personality types of first, middle, last borns, and only children.
jason and i were both kind of spooked by how accurately the descriptions sum up our personalities! i’m kind of embarrassed to realise how many of the not so nice ‘first born’ personality traits i recognise in myself…picky? yup! control freak? maybe just a little. likes to take charge? uhhh….! maybe i need to get to work correcting some of those things! the article does seem rather down on first borns though, don’t you think? we’re not so bad!
isn’t it an interesting article? do you fit into your ‘stock’ personality type? :)

Hmmmm, it seems I may have a fair few of those ‘first born’ traits myself. Bossiness? Check! Moody? Check. Picky? Check! (Ha, allll the negative ones!) I am (or rather, I like to think I am), however, a nurturer/caregiver (maybe not in so many – specific – words) so I guess I balance things out a little :p

I’m a first born too! Yep i think i definitely fit that bill, whoops! It could be worse though, the boy is an only child and he definitely fits those traits!
Can you imagine board games in my house haha!

Reading that first borns are often ‘moody and lack sensitivity’ is definitely apt when I’m currently in a mood – my poor boyf is a first born too, so it’s no wonder we sometimes find ourselves butting heads, what a great find.x

Yup, last born that’s me. I think it fits me well.

I’m middle born be only by 14minutes but it’s scarily accurate I’m definitely the mediator, try to please everybody, hate confrontation and find it very hard to make a decision. And the other two describe my sisters to a T LOL.

    Thats was really interesting :D

I’m a last born, but that doesn’t really describe me at all! Tiny bits of it make sense, like a fear of rejection and short attention span, and I am generally quite cheerful and optimistic, but I hate being the centre of attention and don’t spend any time at all trying to get people to notice me xx

Crikey they don’t like first borns! I am first born but I am virtually the complete opposite of that haha! The only thing I recognise of myself in there is being picky. Love how it’s whinging on about us then says “on the negative side…” and what?! before was positive! aha! x

I’m a first born too and think that some of our better qualities are; nurturing, loyal and fiercely protective :-)

I definitely fit a lot of the middle child things except the “calm” one- I have a real tendency to panic/ fly off the handle. That said, I am definitely a people pleaser and ALWAYS blame myself (e.g. I had a really hard time not saying “no, it was my fault!” when a lorry hit me. Clearly his fault, but….) xx

I’m an only child and the description was completely accurate for me! However I read the first born one to my boyfriend and it’s the complete opposite to what he’s like xx

Oh yes, I’m a middle born. If nothing else, I’ve got proof now after reading this :-) However, the age difference between me and my two brothers is quite large, so I spent the first seven years of my life as a baby sister and youngest child. Think it affects the personality as well.

    Fun read!
