10 things that’ve made me happy this week…

1. shopping with soldier joe yesterday afternoon! turns out, he’s as much of a fan of lipstick shopping as his older brother ;)

2. cooking vegetarian meals, as part of my new year’s resolution. i’m so enjoying having to think more creatively!

3. having a mini mid-week roast dinner at my mum’s house on wednesday!

4. finding out that i got a decent mark on my first third year essay! let’s hope this bodes well for the rest of the year…;)

5. the prospect of having a second christmas this sunday, since joe was away in december! i’m pretty excited for it, since falling sick on the 23rd of december meant that our christmas this year was a total nonevent. also, it looks like our pretend january christmas might just be a snowy one! perfect!

6. pancakes!

7. giving ted a tiny spoonful of gravy on tuesday evening. needless to say, he loved it! i’ve never seen a dog look quite so pleased with himself!

8. long late night conversations with jase :) they’re my favourite.

9. shopping in lush. good customer service always makes me happy, and lush sales assistants are never anything other than charming, knowledgable, and helpful!

10. and of course, snow! it’s just so beautiful, isn’t it? :)

Ah yes, gravy is one of Dylan’s favourites too! He hates his doggy dried food and the only way we can get him to eat it is to pour some gravy over it!
