10 things that’ve made me happy this week…

1. jason, for being endlessly, unfailingly kind :)

2. comfort food- sausage, mash, beans and gravy. best thing to eat on a rainy october night!

3. getting phone calls from jason’s brother joe, letting us know he’s safe in afghanistan.

4. taking jason out for dinner to celebrate his 25th birthday!

5. watching teddy proudly carry around the little duck toy he was given this week :) he loves it!

6. endless happy hours watching my favourite cooking programmes :)

7. having teddy around to hoover up any bits of food that drop on the floor whilst i cook!

8. sleeping through the night with no interruptions. it’s the best, why did i not appreciate it before?!

9. teddy’s happy little face when he sleeps on my slippers :)

10. playing silly games with jase. we like to play a game where one of us has to keep a straight face whilst the other person says ‘there’s a smile coming!…’, and the person who avoids smiling longest is the winner! i always lose ;) p.s. this is the best possible way to diffuse a fit of the grumps or a silly row! ;)

It all sounds so lovely!

Something that made me really happy this week was getting a letter from my mum yesterday. Letters are quite rare these days, and that she sent me one with me being over here in the UK and all was really nice x
