10 things that’ve made me happy this week…

1. finding techniques to keep our hyper little puppy entertained! they work for all of about three seconds ;)

2. forcing jason to watch my new favourite programme ‘here comes honey boo boo’! he put up a fight at first and he’ll never admit it, but he actually loves it!

3. having a freezer full of ice cream!

4. the prospect of taking teddy out for his very first walk this weekend! i can’t wait!

5. also, the prospect of jason and i taking our new hunter wellies out for a walk too ;) we’re nerdy, and we love it!

6. homemade chicken, bacon and leek pie

7. having lovely blog chums like rachel from made up of little things on hand to cheer me up on a rubbish day :) she’s a gem!

8. the curly fur on teddy’s neck. so cute. sigh :)

9. changing into a big cosy jumper and jogging bottoms as soon as i get home from uni

10. eating crumpets for breakfast :) why don’t we always have them in the house? too.yummy!

this week’s happy picture is maybe the best thing i’ve ever posted on here. ever! and i am so trying that recipe!

    yum yum butterbeer, I’ve tried two different recipes for butterbeer and havent been amazed by either of them. maybe this is the one for me!

    Oh yum, I’m very tempted to try that recipe. It’s going to be tricky getting it right though as I remember the taste I imagined when reading the book!

    I’ve had butterbeer when I went to Harry Potter world and it was delicious! So buttery and warm. They also served it cold which was just a delicious! Repinning it from you so I can recreate it one day :) It’s nice to see that you can always find 10 things to be happy about every week!

    I think I need to make that butterbeer! I have a recipe for an alcoholic one (naughty) but you need butterscotch schnapps which is bloomin hard to come by. It’s on my Christmas list haha :)

    Oh my gosh that Butterbeer latte sounds absolutely amazing! Feeling very tempted to make it right about now as I’m at home feeling a bit poorly and sorry for myself, not sure a mug of milk will sit well on my stomach though! Oh and very excited to hear about Teddy’s first walk (sounds like a children’s book!) xo
