A Snapshot: Wednesday

27.09

- i know this photo of mine and jason’s matching outfits isn’t technically a snapshot of wednesday, but i wanted to include it because it really made me smile! we felt super nerdy, finding ourselves wearing identical clothes! before you know it we’ll be one of those couples who finish each other’s sentences, and when it comes to telling an anecdote one of us will say to the other ‘you tell it darling! you tell it better than me.’ ;)

- guess what? i finally got my car valeted! i admit, it was pretty vile before and has needed cleaning for so long. rumour has it that its last clean was over a year ago, but i’m afraid i can’t confirm that ;) hooray for squeaky clean tyres and a car that smells of lavender and polish, instead of mould!

- i went into university yesterday for the first time this term. it was only to apply for a parking permit, but stepping back onto campus for the first time since june made third year seem all too real. to be honest, i’m completely and utterly dreading it- it feels like looking down the barrel of a gun. has anyone got any ‘my third year was better than i expected’ stories to ease my mind, please and thank you? :)

- yesterday, jason tutted at me for handing him a pair of scissors blade first. i quote- ‘you can’t pass scissors like that!’ *shocked face*
i won’t lie, i nearly fell on the floor laughing ;)
- i had the loveliest evening with my ma last night. sometimes there’s just nothing like your mum’s cooking, is there? :) especially when what your mum cooked includes two different types of carbs, sausages and gravy!

- on wednesday i was listening to: erato, watching: old episodes of two fat ladies (old school!), eating: leftover cheesy mash and cabbage, looking forward to: my pretty new nail polishes arriving in the post, and saturday. so excited for saturday! :D

In my third year I had way more fun than in second year, and 2am library sessions where everybody is in a slight state of hysteria from energy drinks and coffee, actually turned out to be quite fun… Yes, I realise how weird that sounds! xx

Oh I thought I was the only one who had a fear of final year! Haven’t started yet but the closer it gets the more afraid I get! This isn’t going to make you feel better is it-sorry!

Rosie! Did no one teach you how to pass scissors at school?? Matt dared to pass me some blade first once and laughed when I gave him a ‘disapproving look’! xx

Your matching outfits are so darling, I always pass scissors the wrong way and I think it’s hilarious when people correct me + yay for new nail polishes!! Sounds like a lovely Wednesday! xo

The matching outfits are quite sweet!
Personally, 3rd year university was one of the best years of my life, can’t give a better recommendation that that.

my third year was my favourite year too. and although i worked hard by that time i had also found out who my friends were and we had some amazing nights out.

and i am jealous that you had yorkshire puddings–i haven’t had them in so long.

It’s true – handles first when passing scissors, tut tut Rosie! Craving yorkshire puddings now, so so much. Mmmm.
