yesterday was a delightfully slow, cosy kind of sunday. it began with newspapers and toasted bacon sandwiches and ended with sweet treats in front of the telly, with a few happy hours of pottering about in the kitchen in between. in fact, the furthest we ventured out all day was up to the village shop to pick up a couple of pints of milk. for me, ‘staying at home all day’ kind of days are king, and i love them so :)
