dear surprise sickness- i hate you. why did you have to turn up during our lovely jubilee celebrations? you are not a welcome guest. please be gone by tomorrow so i can go to london with my beautiful friend who i’ve not seen in so long.

dear jason- thanks for being so thoughtful and engaged and willing to talk. i like working through things with you.
