last night jason took my ma and i out for dinner to celebrate my grandma’s birthday. i think we did a good job celebrating on her behalf :)

it was our first visit to the Green Olive in chobham, and without a shadow of a doubt it won’t be our last! the food was so delicious- we ate traditional greek meze, lots of small dishes that arrive in stages at your table. it’s such a lovely sociable way to eat! the service was outstanding too, and i’d recommend the restaurant to anyone. oh and those olives were some of the best i’ve ever eaten, and that’s saying something!

we’ve had such terrible weather recently, but i felt last night that the air smelt more summery and there was less of a chill in the wind so fingers crossed that a fine english summer is finally on it’s way!
